Mash up master Girl Talk returns after a long break with a new EP that acts as a collaborative effort with rapper Freeway entitled Broken Ankles. The release will be free and drops on April 8th but for now check out the humorous, albeit violent, visuals for lead single "Tolerated" which features Waka Flaka Flame and were directed by Allen Cordell.

Video: Liars - "Mess On A Mission"
YES! For the seventeenth installment of the UO Music Video series, the Liars have teamed up with wunderkind director Luis Cerveró on the song "Mess on a Mission" off the bands fantastic new album Mess. The clip is most certainly as unique as the band themselves are.
Video: The Antlers - "Palace"
The Antlers will be returning to the scene with their fourth album titled Familiars on June 17th. The record was recorded, produced, and engineered by the band and our first taste comes from lead single and video, “Palace,” which sticks with a sound that fans should be familiar with. Directed by Hana Tajima.

Listen" EMA - "3Jane"
Erika Anderson’s forthcoming LP, The Future’s Void , is out on April 8 via Matador, and today we can share a third tune off the record by way of “3Jane.” Truth be told I’ve been enjoying this record for a while now, I’m a big fan of EMA and her last record made my best of the year, The Future’s Void will most likely do the same come December.

Video: Avey Tare's Slasher Flicks – “Strange Colores”
Avey Tare's Slasher Flicks, the new band featuring the Animal Collective member, ex-Dirty Projectors member Angel Deradoorian and ex-Ponytail drummer Jeremy Hyman have shared a video for “Strange Colors’ off their forthcoming debut LP, Enter the Slasher House. The predictably trippy tune should please fans off all those involved and officially drops on April 8th. The kaleidoscopic visuals come from director by Olivia Wyatt.
Video: Broods - "Bridges"
Two videos in one month from New Zealand electro-pop act Broods, this time it’s for their breakout single “Bridges”. The video was shot in Copenhagen and directed by Jeppe Kolstrup and Aleksander Hørup.
Listen: Afghan Whigs - "The Lottery”
As recently reported the Afghan Whigs

the Cincinnati band, is our second taste of Do The Beast and you can stream it

Listen: Lykke Li - "No Rest For The Wicked"
After sharing a new song from Sweden’s Lykke Li some weeks
back we have something new for you to enjoy today off of her forthcoming LP, I
Never Learn. "No Rest For The Wicked" fits in nicely with what we
have heard of the record so far which seems to be something in-between the
first two parts of the proposed trilogy. If you like what you hear pick up the
record on May 5th when it is officially released.

I’ve already expressed my affinity for the new Liars record and shared the first single “Mess On A Misson” as well as something “secret” on our most recent Playlist Series; but lucky you! Today we can share the album in it’s entirety via NPR. Mess is the band's seventh studio and continues down the more electronic path the trio focused on with their last record, WIXIW. Mute will officially be releasing the record on March 25th.

Banksy for Syria
Syria is the worst humanitarian crisis of the 21st century.
Every day children, women and men in Syria are living through unspeakable
horror. Nearly half the population has been forced to flee their homes in fear.
Over 100,000 people have been killed.
15th March 2014 marks the third anniversary of the Syria
crisis, three years of failure by the world to end the appalling suffering. In conjunction with the anniversary Banksy has remixed one of his most well-known pieces to bring attention to the cause.

Listen: Daft Punk – Computerized (Ft. Jay Z)
So here is a random surprise the came up today…Co-produced by Kanye West, is an unearthed track by Daft Punk featuring JAY Z, entitled “Computerized”. Of course the tune might be fake as there are dozens of counterfeit tunes attached to the Daft Punk name floating around the internet but you never really know until someone officially confirms it to be one or the other. The newly surfaced track supposedly did not make the cut for Random Access Memories or Magna Carta Holy Grail but thanks to the internet nothing stays hidden for long!
Listen: Perfect Pussy - “Say Yes To Love” (Full LP Stream)
After sharing a second track from Perfect Pussy’s Captured Tracks debut last week we follow things up with a full LP stream from the Syracuse
noise-punk band. Say Yes To Love officially drops on March 18th but I’ve been
playing an advanced copy to death over the last week. Clocking in at blink-of-
the- eye 23-minutes the record is a frantic journey that shares a lot in style
and execution with many of the noise punk bands of yesteryear, and to say that
is a good thing since most of those bands have long gone the way of the dodo.
If you preorder the LP now via iTunes you get four bonus songs that are live
renditions of material you might already recognize. Usually pre order bonus
material is just a bunch of garbage but these live renditions are nothing less
than excellent and add to the albums already strong since of self.

Listen: Perfect Pussy - "Interference Fits"
"Interference Fits" is the second track we can share from Syracuse noise-punk band, Perfect Pussy's forthcoming debut LP, Say yes To Love, out March 18th.
The tune is a little less chaotic than the bands usual fair and maybe gives a
little more insight into Meredith’s lyrics which seemingly explore the complicated
relationship that some have with love and personal freedom.
Video: OFF! – “Hypnotized’
Hardcore supergroup OFF! are gearing up to release their new LP Wasted Days on April 8 via VICE. The band dropped a new Chris Grismer directed video today for a song called “Hypnotized” and it stars my personal hero, David Yow. The clip see’s the Jesus Lizard frontman as a crack-using superhero who faces off against his rival, T.S.O.L.'s Jack Grisham. Awesome!

Video: Broods - "Never Gonna Change"
New Zealand electro-pop act Broods have shared a video from

finds the perfect visual match in a clip that sees a cursed man struggling for
love.

Video: Run The Jewels - "Run The Jewels"
It’s a good thing the first Run The Jewels project was so damn great because El-P and Killer Mike have most certainly gotten some mileage out
of the free release as we get yet another video from the record, this time for
the title track. Check out the RUFFMERCY directed animated video below and look for Run The Jewels 2 to drop sometimes
in 2014.
Video: Lykke Li – "Love Me Like I'm Not Made of Stone"
Sweden’s Lykke Li will release her new album I Never Learn on May 6th and as often happens before the release of an album we get a lead single and video. "Love Me Like I'm Not Made of Stone" was directed by Tarik Saleh, it's a close-up portrait of Lykke.
The album was co-produced by Björn Yttling (of Peter Björn and John), Greg Kurstin, and Lykke. It's the final entry in a trilogy, which includes 2008's Youth Novels and 2011's hugely popular Wounded Rhymes.
