Video: Olek – “Works Completed Between Aug 2011 – Sept 2012”

The video below documents a year of projects created by Polish artist Olek in locations around the world, from August 2011 through the end of September 2012. The artist is currently raising funds for an ongoing legal case by selling several prints of images of her crochet work. Agata Oleksiak aka Olek, who was recently featured by us here, took her guerrilla crocheting into the public domain several days ago in support of the Occupy Wall Street protests. Putting her needles to work she covered the Alamo sculpture in NY with her trademark colorful patchwork yarn, taking a closer look one would discover the pattern was  complete with embedded messages.
