tUnE-yArDs let loose the second video from their critically acclaimed 2011 LP, w h o k i l l. “My Country” was directed by Mimi Cave and stars the kids of Brightworks and the San Francisco Rock Project. tUnE -yArDs'  has set up a Kickstarter campaign to benefit  the San Francisco Rock Project that you can check out HERE.

tUnE-yArDs have released their latest EP for the single "Gangsta" from their recent album w h o k i l l. The EP features two awesome remixes from Ad-Rock of The Beastie Boys and DJ Cut Chemist. Take a listen to both mixes below, where you can also receive a free download for the Ad-Rock remix. The Gangsta EP is now available to purchase via iTunes and is set to be released on 12" next month which you can preorder here.

Video: tUnE-yArDs - "Gangsta" (Live On Yours Truly)

Yours Truly posted a great shoot with tUnE-yArDs  in the studio in Oakland. Merrill Garbus talks about how she constructs her songs—which she calls “puzzle pieces”—before she performs a wonderfully percussion heavy version of “Gangsta” from w h o k i l l. It’s easy to see how Garbus has taken the songs from that record and really transformed them, her talent for working with loops is always  impressive.
