Video: Autre Ne Veut - "Play By Play"

Autre Ne Veut has shared the second official video for his recently released Anxiety LP. "Play by Play" was Directed by Georgie Greville and Geremy Jasper of LEGS. Autre Ne Veut‘s forthcoming album Anxiety is due out on February 12th. We have already had a taste of it via “Counting” and now we get a more up beat selection of what to expect from the bedroom producer’s project. “Play By Play” is also rooted in R&B but has more of a pop vibe to it, Autre production of snapping percussion and melodic synthesizers are pretty top notch giving a lot of seasoned veterans in the game a good run for their money.

Video: Autre Ne Veut – “Counting”

Autre Ne Veut recorded a slightly different version of his r&b-infused pop jam “Counting.” The new mix includes some rhymes from Mykki Blanco and a video to accompany it. Both ANV and Mykki Blanco nurse a dying grandmother in the visuals which were directed by David Riley and see a much less provocative Blanco which is of course fitting for the tone.

Continuing with the onslaught of "bedroom" R&B that we have heard over the last 24 months comes some quality music from Arthur Ashin, aka Autre Ne Veu ,who is gearing up to release his sophomore LP in February entitled Anxiety via Mexican Summer imprint, Software.  Some might hear a little How To Dress Well if a comparison has to be made, the two have actually toured together in the past. “Counting” is the first single from the record and is lyrically based on phone calls Ashin had with his dying grandmother.
