Radio Soulwax launches

Yes! This is finally up running, I've been checking this site feverishly the last ten days or so after the illusive Avalanches were interviewed by Soulwax, aka mash-up kings 2 Many DJ's, and I was first made aware of this project.
Soulwax are launching Radio Soulwax, a multimedia, mix-oriented Internet radio station/app that launches on July 4. According to Radio Soulwax's website, the "experience" will consist of a series of 24 hour-long mixes, updated with a new mix every week and culminating in a continuous 24-hour loop of all the collected mixes. The mixes can be experienced on Radio Soulwax's website, or through the project's app for iPhone, iPad, and Android.
Each mix will include enhanced visuals that take inspiration from the music's record sleeves. "We grew up surrounded by our dad's extensive record collection and many of our earliest memories are of record sleeves, so it only makes sense that we made this tribute to that forgotten art form, albeit in a very digital way," Soulwax explains. "We're not trying to show off with the rarest holiest of grails that only a handful of people have, but just want to share a bunch of records that you might not have heard yet, and hopefully inspire you to search for and discover them for yourselves."
Due to "copyright and publishing legalities," none of the mixes will ever be sold. If you are curious as to what this thing actually is, there's an hour-long "Introversy" preview mix available for viewing over at Radio Soulwax's site now.
