Listen: TV On The Radio - "Careful You"

TV On The Radio have shared another new tune from their forthcoming LP, Seeds. “Careful You” made its way onto the web this morning with an accompanying lyric video for our enjoyment.  No surprises here, more quality work from the Brooklyn crew so if you are a fan of the band’s sound this should please you, if you aren't maybe today's the day you become one. Seeds is out via Harvest Records on November 18th.

Video: TV On The Radio – “Happy Idiot”

TV On The Radio have shared their new "Speed Racer" inspired video for Seeds single "Happy Idiot", it stars Paul Reubens of Pee Wee Herman fame and Karen Gillian of Dr. Who fame.  The clip was directed by Danny Jelinek and written by Jake Fogelnest; if you like what you hear make sure to check out Seeds in its entirety when it drops on November 18^th via Harvest Records.

Finally found a moment to share the new TV On The Radio tune that popped up yesterday night. The Brooklyn band’s new album, Seeds, is scheduled to drop in November but we have been getting tastes of new material on a relatively steady basis via live performances and this music video; but we are talking about one of my all time favorite bands so it’s never really enough as far as I’m concerned. Seeds will be the band’s first album since 2011′s Nine Types of Light. It will also be their first without bassist Gerard Smith, who tragically passed away that same year from lung cancer. Video: TV On The Radio – “Million Miles”

After debuting new material in the form of “Mercy” last month TV On The Radio share another song in the form of “Million Miles.” As reported the Brooklyn band don't plan to release an LP in the traditional sense, opting to instead just release singles until feel like doing otherwise. TVOTR’s  Kype Malone handles directing duties in the video featuring a disgruntled environmental activist/TV host-turned-drug evangelist.

Listen: TV On The Radio - "Mercy"

TV On The Radio returns with  new cut that makes its debute on  band member Dave Sitek’s Federal Prism label. “Mercy” is a fast tempo song high on energy and probably the most straight froward rock i've heard the band produce in quite some time. 

At the moment the Brooklyn band don't plan to release an LP in the traditional sense, opting to instead just release singles until they are ready to change it up, let's hope there is more to come in the very near future.

Listen: Florence & The Machine - "No Light, No Light" (Dave Sitek Remix)

Dave Sitek, of TV On The Radio and Maximum Balloon remixed Florence & The Machine's "No Light, No Light"  off of the recently released sophomore album Ceremonials. Mr. Sitek's remix will act as a b-side for the12" single that is to be released on January 16th. The remix tries to make the song more danceable it would seem, enjoy….
