Video: Passion Pit - "Cry Like a Ghost" (Exclusive Extended Cut)

Passion Pit delivers a new set of visuals for “Cry Like a Ghost,” from their 2011 LP Gossamer. The video features a girl who, as the directors describe, is “dancing through her relationships” What you see below is an extended version featuring almost two minutes of additional intro footage, good stuff. Directed by DANIELS.

Video: Passion Pit – “Carried Away”

More love stories today as Passion Pit drop a lighthearted and quirky video for “Carried Away” from their sophomore LP, Gossamer.  Directed by Ben and Alex Brewer and featuring One Tree Hill actress Sophia Bush, the viewer gets to experience the ups and downs of being in a relationship.

There seems to be a trend of video’s being pushed out at rapid speeds these days. It was only on July 18th that we shared Passion Pit’s “I’llbe Alright” visuals, from their recently released sophomore LP Gossamer, and today August 1st  we have a brand new clip for “Constant Conversations” making it the third set of visuals overall from the week + old release . Directed by Dori Oskowitz, it features actor/director Peter Bogdanovich (The Last Picture Show, "The Sopranos"), among others, check it below…

Wow I can’t even keep up with everything that is making its way onto the web today. Passion Pit are up next with their latest video from their soon to be released LP Gossamer. For “I’ll be alright” the band offered up a contest alongside Genero.tv, and this was the winning result as submitted by Greg Barth....

Today we are pointing you in the direction of full preview streams of two of this summer’s most high profile electro-pop albums and we begin with Passion Pit’s Gossamer. Acting as the follow-up to the bands successful 2009 début, Manners we got  our first taste of the new LP by way of “Take A Walk,” which brought us that familiar sugary sound. Conversely we heard a smoother R&B vibe from their most recent teaser, “Constant Conversations.” If you like what you heard in either of the two tracks then you will be more than happy with the album which follows the same upbeat summery vibe throughout. I heard the album 3, 4 times over the weekend and am stuck on “I’ll Be Alright” for its spitter spatter glitch beat, let us know what stands out to you? Video: Passion Pit – “Take A Walk”

PassionPit‘s forthcoming sophomore album Gossamer  is scheduled to drop on July 24th via Columbia and so far we have had the chance to hear two tracks from it including “I’ll be Alright” and “Take A Walk.”  The later now has a video to go along with it presented by the Creators Project. The video seems to take the POV of a ball flying through the scenic airs of the East coast here in the United  States, enjoy it below…

Following up “Take A Walk,” Passion Pit drops the second single from their upcoming sophomore album, Gossamer. “I’ll Be Alright” shares more with the Passion Pit of yesteryear than “Take A Walk” does with it's bombastic and chaotic sound. Gossamer is out July 24.
