Video: Dye – “She’s Bad” Feat. Egyptian Lover

It’s been a long while since we shared anything from French producer Dye. Last time we officially checked in was back in 2011 with the very memorable song and video for “Fantasy;” but fear not the Parisian recently returned with a new twelve-track record called Cocktail Citron and with it we get another exceptional video.

Enlisting the vocal stylings of West Coast rap legend Egyptian Lover for his latest track, “She’s Bad.” Jérémie recently said: “it is about a girl, a bad one, who’s too sexy for human beings.” The video was directed by filmmaking duo Dent de Cuiraka Jean-Philippe Chartrand and Benjamin Mege, who also directed the “Fantasy” video mentioned above.

The short sees temptress Aude Auffret saunter round a tiki bar setting, her face replaced with library footage cuttings of wildlife and fizzing volcanic springs, Altered States-style. “We were looking at John Stezaker’s layered, peel-away collages, and referenced a book of tattoos and how they sit on the body,” say the co-directors.

Video: DyE - "Fantasy"

Now this is a pretty great video...

Tigersushi and Excuse My French are pleased to present the new video for  DyE's new single, "Fantasy". Directed by animation wunderkind Jérémie Périn, the video tells the story of a group of highschool kids ready for teenage mischief. They break into the local swimming pool intending a session of innocent nightswimming, in an awkward climate of romance and apprehension. What happens next is for you to discover. NSFW
