Baltimore-based duo, Wye Oak, have shared a video from their new album, Shriek, which dropped yesterday. “Glory”, directed by Michael Patrick O'Leary and Ashley North Compton, plays with choppy editing techniques to give parts of the video an uneasy stop motion feel.

Listen: Wye Oak – “Glory”
Baltimore duo Wye Oak dropped the first official single off of their upcoming album, Shriek, today. Give the uncharacteristically dancey but no less memorable “Glory” a spin below and look for the album to drop via Merge Records on April 29th.

Listen: Flock of Dimes – “Curtain”
Wye Oak’s Jenn Wasner is releasing her second 7″ single with her Flock of Dimes side
project on Merge Records next month. “Curtain” is the single’s a-side. Wasner
described the lyrics as documenting “the thoughtless, obsessed joy of new
love.” There is a lot going on in the
tune but it all works very well together; the single is limited to 1,000 copies
so get one from Merge while you still can.
