On October 16, Godspeed You! Black Emperor will release their first album
in a decade, titled ALLELUJAH! DON'T BEND! ASCEND!, through Constellation. Stream the four
tunes from the post rockers, who sound as provocative as eve below. Note that even
though the record is only four songs long, two clock in at 20-minutes in length while the
remaining two are both six-and-a-half-minutes long .
Packed with marching
drums, spiraling build-ups and the bands trademark ability to fortify even the
loudest compositions with calming, beautiful strings.
