Listen: Deafheaven - "From the Kettle Onto the Coil"

San Francisco black metal act, Deafheaven, have shared a new seven-minute tune by the name of "From the Kettle Onto the Coil." The song is being released as part of this year's Adult Swim Summer Singles and can be downloaded here beginning August 25 or as I often like to say right now if you have any know how on how the internet works.

On October 16, Godspeed You! Black Emperor will release their first album in a decade, titled ALLELUJAH! DON'T BEND! ASCEND!, through Constellation. Stream the four tunes from the post rockers, who sound as provocative as eve below. Note that even though the record is only four songs long,  two clock in at 20-minutes in length while the remaining two  are  both six-and-a-half-minutes long .

Packed with marching drums, spiraling build-ups and the bands trademark ability to fortify even the loudest compositions with calming, beautiful strings.
