Video: Girl Talk & Freeway – “Tolerated”

Mash up master Girl Talk returns after a long break with a new EP that acts as a collaborative effort with rapper Freeway entitled Broken Ankles. The release will be free and drops on April 8th but for now check out the humorous, albeit violent, visuals for lead single "Tolerated" which features Waka Flaka Flame and were directed by Allen Cordell.

Video: Beach House – “Lazuli”

BeachHouse returns with their latest video and this time it’s for “Lazuli”, taken from the excellent Bloom LP. The video uses what  is seemingly becoming a trend  in music video’s in the last couple of years, ghosts and spirits. It’s a trend I can get behind and the band alongside director, Allen Cordell, do a great job with it.

VIDEO: The Videos of Allen Cordell

Brooklyn based designer Allen Cordell has been pumping out some interesting videos the past couple years including music videos for Dan Deacon and Best Coast. He has definitely developed a style of his own mixing puppets, trippy CGi, and over the top-splatterhouse style gore. Below are 2 of his latest videos.

Gentlemen Drivers is an electronic band from Paris, FR and have a bit of an "Ed Banger" sound to them. I don't know much about the band but the video is mental.

Waters is a new project from ex-Port O'Brien frontman Van Pierszalowski who moved from SF after the break up of the band to Oslo Norway to come up with the sound of his new project. The new album comes out 9/20.
