Video: Youth Code - "Consuming Guilt"

Grant Singer directs the new video from LA industrial duo Youth Code and it’s a graphic one at that.

"We wanted to use this video as an opportunity to show the public the inhumane practices of animal testing," Singer said in a press release.

To accomplish that, they've cleverly recreated some of the more well-known acts one would associate with testing on animals and flipped the script.

"Consuming Guilt" is off the pair's A Place to Stand EP, out now on Dais.

Video: DIIV - "How Long Have You Known?"

Brooklyn shoe gazers DIIV, originaly named Dive, released their debut album Oshin yesterday to rave reviews. The album is a short sweet pop gem for those into the guitar sound of 80’s mainstays such as The Cure or The Smiths. "How Long Have You Known?" is one of the many quality tunes from the release so I figured I’d throw up the Grant Singer directed video to act as an introduction for those unfamiliar…

BONUS: Here is a full LP Stream of Oshin if you like what you heard above.

Video: Girls – “My Ma”

San Francisco band Girls dropped the third and latest video from their fantastic 2011 LP, Father, Son, Holy Ghost. Stand out tune “My Ma” was directed and edited by Aaron Brown and shot by Grant Singer and Brown. The clip has the feel of a documentary, playing out like a-day-in-the-life-of a middle-aged woman who reflects on her former career as an actor, her story told through the pages of scrapbooks.
