Video: Cloud Nothings – “Now Hear It”

Just so no one accuses me of dropping our rock coverage in favor of all the beat driven music, here is a new video from Cloud Nothings. “Now Hear it,” which may or may not appear on the last Onomatopoeia Playlist Series edition, looks like what would happen if you mashed together old VHS footage with the Arcade Fire’s current obsession with papier-mâché bobble head masks. Maybe in the case of the Cloud Nothings, with an extra sprinkle of paranoia on top.  The clip was directed by Carpark labelmate Toro Y Moi’s touring guitarist Jordan Blackmon and follows Toro Y Moi bassist Patrick Jeffords as he travels around various scenic California locales.

Video: Cloud Nothings - "Fall In"

Cleveland punk band Cloud Nothings dropped a video for their stellar tune “Fall In” which sees the band star in a well-choreographed musical of sorts complete with Busby Berkeley-inspired choreography. Directed by John Ryan Manning.

Video: Cloud Nothings: "Stay Useless"

Cloud Nothings album Attack on Memory may not be the most original album released this year but that doesn’t stop it from being one of my favorites.  The Cleveland punk band dropped the latest video from the LP in the form of  the super catchy "Stay Useless." Enjoy the animated clip below...
