Video: Panda Bear - "Boys Latin"

Animal Collective’s Panda Bear is set to release his fifth studio LP, Panda Bear Meets The Grim Reaper on January 13^th. The record leaked about a month back and it’s pretty great. “Boys Latin,” is the first video and it's a vibrant animated journey directed by Isaiah Saxon and Sean Hellfritsch. The video premiered on Adult Swim over the weekend and has some thematic nods to some of the network's more popular animated series'.

San Francisco black metal act, Deafheaven, have shared a new seven-minute tune by the name of "From the Kettle Onto the Coil." The song is being released as part of this year's Adult Swim Summer Singles and can be downloaded here beginning August 25 or as I often like to say right now if you have any know how on how the internet works.

The latest installment of the Adult Swim Singles Series comes from FlyingLotus' rap alter-ego and personal favorite of mine Captain Murphy.  “Between Villians” sticks to the dark tone that was showcased on the Captain’s debute mixtape, Earl Sweatshirt DOOM alter-ego ViktorVaughn and Thundercat all make guest appearances. Video: Think Talk – “Banksy Interview”

In the latest episode of Adult Swim’s Think Talk Banksy talks about a wide range of topics including the importance of breakfast, boy bands, graffiti and KAWS. I’m not quite sure how serious he’s being about everything in the three-minute interview but it seems to be in good fun and any footage of the legendary Brit is always exciting. 

Listen: Run The Jewels (EL-P & Killer Mike) – “36” Chains"

As previously reported Run The Jewels,  Killer Mike and El-P’s new collaboration, is set to drop at the end of June, and with two tracks having already found their way onto the internet, including last week’s collaboration with Big Boy titled “Banana Clipper,” things are getting exciting.   “36” Chain” is another hard-hitting offering that coincidentally will also be a part of The Adult Swim Singles series, which begins on June 10, and will continue to release singles for 15 consecutive weeks to the benefit of all of us.

San Diego's Death Grips return with the final offering in the 2012 Adult Swim Singles Series. According to drummer Zach Hill “@DEATHGRIPZ” is an unreleased cut from the Money Store sessions. Death Grips' second album of 2012, NO LOVE DEEP WEB, is "most likely" out in late October. Check out the tune below as well as a behind-the-scenes video on the making of the track.

Oh wow.  A collaboration that wouldn't have crossed my mind, not because it crosses genres, but because it brings together two of the querkiest and most imaginative representatives of one.  LA producer Flying Lotus works his hip-hop magic on a beat that perfectly compliments Odd Future's Earl Sweatshirt's rhymes.  In typical FlyLo manner, the vocal isn't left intact with a subtle downward pitchshift that makes Earl's voice sound more menacing than ever. We also get an appearance from Captain Murphy who is rumored to be Flying Lotus's emcee alias or  possibly even Tyler The Creator under a different name! New Mastodon video - "Deathbound"

Adult Swim Singles Program released a new Mastodon video today. But this track, "Deathbound", won't appear on the forthcoming album The Hunter. Instead, it comes from the same sessions that produced their last album, 2009's Crack the Skye.

The song will soon appear on the Singles Program website. The amazing video, from Authority Films, is below.
