Video: M83 - "Claudia Lewis"

Directed by Bryce Dallas Howard and staring Lily Collins comes the latest video treat from M83’s Hurry Up We’re Dreaming LP. Dallas tells Vogue that the video for “Claudia Lewis” was inspired by the David Bowie-starring sci-fi film The Man Who Fell to Earth.

Video: M83 - "Wait"

M83 just dropped the video for “Wait”, which acts as the final episode of the Sci-fi trilogy, and visual collaboration between M83 and Fleur & Manu that has been ongoing throughout 2012, including the videos for "Midnight City" and "Reunion".

Fleur and Manu’s vision for "Wait" was brought to life with the support of The Creators Project.

Video: M83 – “Steve McQueen”

M83 shared the video for "Steve McQueen" off Hurry Up, We're Dreaming. The clip was, directed by Balthazar Auxietre and Sylvain Derosne and came about as a result of a video contest run by Genero.tv, which invited filmmakers around the globe to interpret the song. The only instruction given was that the song is "not about the actor!" 

Video: M83 - "Reunion"

M83 released the latest visuals from 2011’s Hurry Up We’re Dreaming track “Reunion.” Directed by Fleur & Manu, the striking video continues the storyline from the video for "Midnight City" as a group of paranormal children go to battle. Watch out for an  AdamYauch tribute 48 seconds or so in.

Most of our readers are familiar with the frenchman M83 and his epic soundscapes inspired by a wide-eyed nostalgic and romanticized  take on what it was like to be young.  Few, however, might remember Mylo's mid 00s electro-house productions and fairly decent album entitled "Destroy Rock & Roll" which was guided by similar motifs.  With this remix of M83's "Reunion" to be featured on the EP of the same name, Mylo is back and I for one forgot I actually missed him.  Listen to a great quality radio rip below:

M83 popped in to see Jimmy Fallon last night on his NBC show, treating the audience to a live rendition of “Midnight City,” a song that I for one can’t get enough of even all these months after its début on the internet and consequently the recently released double LP Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming.
