Listen: Jam City – “Crisis” & “Unhappy”

Jam City is set to return with his sophomore LP in the New Year and producer recently shared two tracks, “Crisis” and “Unhappy.” The tunes are quite a departure from the Jack's last LP which was super crisp minimalist techno, this time around there is a much warmer feel, living in a space somewhere between his existing work and chillwave music.

Video: Clark – "Winter Linn”

Clark's latest self-titled LP is a real monster that hits all the right spots. With each listen it brings some new realized nuance that I hadn't picked up on previously, making it a treasure trove of micro-surprises for all those like-minded headphone jocks out there.  Director Christopher Hewitt takes on video duties for “Winter Linn” which in my opinion successfully acts an interpretation of Clark's vision for his new album - "music like sculpture." 

Listen: Membrain - "Airic" (Grimes Side Project)

Claire Boucher's of Grimes has teamed up with  Tim Lafontaine of experimental Canadian noise act Cop Car Bonfire, to form Membrain. According to their SoundCloud, a new EP called Sit Back, Rewind will be out this year, but Grimes Tweeted today: "it's really a live thing.. and, Membrain is like 90 % Tim I just do vocals for him."  Listen to "Airic" below which happens to sample material for Boucher's latest LP, Visions.
