Video: HAIM – “My Song 5” (Feat. A$AP Ferg)

HAIM’s “My Song 5″ remix featuring A$AP Ferg  gets the video treatment  this morning after much buzz surrounding the shoot. The humorous video features SNL star Vanessa Bayer playing a daytime talk-show hostess but viewers might also recognize  guest appearances from Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig, Kesha, Grimes, and of course Ferg and the HAIM ladies themselves.

Having already shared an audio stream and live video for HAIM's “Falling” it was only a matter of time before a video turned up, this one was directed by Tabitha Denholm and finds the trio wandering in the wilderness.

As an added bonus I also included a short behind the scenes making of video.

HAIM released the studio recording of their track “Falling” last night; you may recall we shared a live version of the tune back in the first week of January. The song has a playful baseline and one of those trademark catchy choruses’. No word on if the song will be officially released on another EP or on the sisters debut LP scheduled to drop sometime this year.

HAIM might not even have an album to their name yet but that hasn’t stopped the sisters from releasing a steady flow of material, today we got their latest video in the form of “Don’t Save Me” where the ladies strut their stuff on a basketball court. Video: Sound & Vision Episode 006 - "HAIM"

In this short documentary from Sound & Vision about the pop band Haim, we get to hear the sisters discuss their roots, their writing and recording process, the influence of their parents as well as some stories as told directly by their dad who has been known to play some live show with the girls.

Yesterday, the sisterly trio known as Haim took to Zane Lowe‘s Radio 1 show to première a brand new song called “Don’t Save Me". The women are apparently working on their debut album at the moment, which this tune might eventually appear on, and have been gaining a crazy amount of buzz since originally dropping their one time free ep back in February. While you have to pay for the package now it’s well worth the money if you are into well-crafted pop music with an 80’s vibe to it.
