Listen: Warpaint – “Warpaint” (Fulll LP Stream)

It’s been a handful of years since indie rock band Warpaint entered the scene with their 2010 debut,  The Fool, and now the quartet of ladies are gearing up to drop their hypnotic sophomore offering on January 20th via Rough Trade. The self-titled record is composed of twelve tracks running at 51-minutes with some Chris Cunningham video work due to arrive in the very near future, stream the full LP via NPR now.

Listen: Warpaint – “Biggy”

We already shared Warpaint’s first single from their upcoming self-titled LP back in October, today we are treated with a second song by the name of "Biggy" which you can stream below and download for free for the next 24 hours. Look for the full album to drop on January 21 in the U.S. via Rough Trade and some anticipated visuals from video master Chris Cunningham.

Listen: Warpaint – “Love Is To Die”

L.A. indie rock band Warpaint have been hard at work on new  self-titled album that will be out on January 21st. in the U.S. via Rough Trade. The band recorded and mixed Warpaint with sometimes NIN collaborator Flood and Atoms for Peace member Nigel Godrich.

"Love Is to Die" is the first single and reportedly will eventually have a Chris Cunningham video to go along with it, note he also supplied the cover art.

Listen: HAIM – “Falling”


HAIM released the studio recording of their track “Falling” last night; you may recall we shared a live version of the tune back in the first week of January. The song has a playful baseline and one of those trademark catchy choruses’. No word on if the song will be officially released on another EP or on the sisters debut LP scheduled to drop sometime this year.

Video: Antony and the Johnsons -"Cut the World" (featuring Willem Dafoe)


Antony and The Johnsons are back with a new live LP out today via Rough Trade/Secretly Canadian. Include in the release is a new studio single and video for title track "Cut the World." The somewhat violent video, with a shocking ending, was directed by NABIL and stars Willem Dafoe (Spider-Man trilogy), Carice van Houten ("Game of Thrones"), and Marina Abramović.

"Cut the World" was originally written for the opera The Life and Death of Marina Abramović and will screen on August 11 at the Southbank Centre in London, as part of  the Meltdown Festival curated by Antony Hegarty. It will proceed a screening of the film "Turning", a collaboration between Antony and video artist Charles Atlas.
