I woke up this morning bright and early to see that SOHN had
shared a new tune. This is the first new material we have heard since the
British producer dropped his album earlier in the year and he sticks with the
formula that made him popular in the past. Stream “The Chase” from below…
“Artifice” is the latest tune taken from SOHN's debut album
Tremors which will be released worldwide on the week of April 7th by 4AD. The
visuals, which were presumably shot in super-fast video and slowed down to get the desired effect, come
from director Thom Glunt. Is that snow or ash?
SOHNshared something new in the form of “Lessons.” The
tune continues down the same path the Englishman has been forging for himself
these last 12 plus months, smooth R&B sensibilities with a late night electronic
vibe.
UK producer SOHNdropped a video for his latest single "Bloodflows." The clip was directed and filmed by Italian artist Christian Pitschl in the
Bavarian Alps between Germany and Austria and features Munich-based actress
Nadja Langer.
Powerhouse R&B duo Rhye released their debut LP last
month to much praise, “Open”
was most certainly a highlight on the LP and as luck would have it London-via-Vienna
producer SOHN has gone and turned an already fantastic track into an
equally fantastic remix. The synths used on this one really add a new layer to
the whole thing making it into more of a hazy late night tune for the wrong side of
the tracks.
UK artist SOHN has been busy making waves these last four
months or so, we were happy to share his unique sound with you before most and
are even happier to find out that he has recorded and shared a new tune by the
name of “Bloodflows.” Not much accompanying information on this one yet so who
knows where it will eventually appear but for now you can stream it below…

are a pretty common thing now days but when a new favorite of ours SOHN decides
to give it a go we figured we have to post it. Here he tackles Ms. Rey's Born To Die Paradise Edition highlight "Ride,"
setting the songstress’s vocals up with a backdrop of synths, analog drums and
heavy bass. It gives the tune a completely different feel.

SOHN dropped a video for “The Wheel”, a tune we shared with
you back in early September from the Vienna-via-London producer’s debut ep of
the same name. The video features archive footage off all things that turn and
was created by Devin Yuceil, Suze Olbrich & Nathaniel Rodriguez.
You may recall that back in early September we gave high praise to Vienna-via-London producer Sohn, showcasing two
of his tunes. Looks like in the month plus since, the producer has gained some
exposure and some well-deserved notice. Glad the rest of you caught up! November
5th see’s the release of his debut EP, The Wheel, as the inaugural release on UK label Aesop.
"Red Lines", the EP's second single, is a little more subtle than
what we heard with our first taste. Sparse, clicking percussion-- weaving in
