Listen/Video: Lana Del Rey - "Ride" SOHN Remix + "Bel Air" Video

Lana Del Rey remixes are a pretty common thing now days but when a new favorite of ours SOHN decides to give it a go we figured we have to post it. Here he tackles Ms. Rey's  Born To Die Paradise Edition highlight "Ride," setting the songstress’s vocals up with a backdrop of synths, analog drums and heavy bass. It gives the tune a completely different feel.

BONUS: While we are at it here is Lana's latest video for Paradise Edition Bonus track "Bel Air" The Youtube descriptions says

"-i lost my reputation, i forgot my truth. But i have my beauty and i have my youth.

Video: Lana Del Rey - "Ride"

Lana Del Rey has released an epic 10-minute video for the Rick Rubin produced "Ride," her new single off Born to Die - The Paradise Edition (Out November 12th.)  In the video Del Rey is portraying a prostitute, or so it would seem, starting the clip off with a voice over narration proclaiming "I was a singer. Not a very popular one, I once had dreams of becoming a beautiful poet. But, upon an unfortunate series of events, saw those dreams dashed and divided like a million stars in the night sky that I wished on, over and over again, sparkling and broken."  The video was directed by Anthony Mandler, who previously worked with Del Rey on the video for "National Anthem".

Listen: Lana Del Rey – “National Anthem” (Das Racist Remix)

Das Racist dropped a really random remix of Lana Del Rey‘s “National Anthem”.  If we are being fare I wouldn’t really call this a remix as much as I would call it Das Racist sampling Lana Del Rey. The guys keep things quirky as ever….

Video: Lana Del Rey – “National Anthem”

Lana Del Rey dropped her latest video only a day after sharing an extended preview with the world. Directed by Anthony Mandler "National Anthem” sees Del Rey playing both Marilyn Monroe and Jackie O with A$APRocky making  a guest appearance as JFK. The video is shot to look like a series of vintage home video-style clips, something Lana seems to be drawn to.

Listen: Lana Del Rey – “Born To Die” (Damon Albarn PDP 13 Remix)

Not to go overboard on the Lana Del Ray remixes or anything I felt I had to squeeze this one in as well. Damon Albarn has taken a stab at the controversial songstress’ “Born To Die” and I’m really liking the stripped down electronic vibe he has created. Check out the stream below under Damon’s PDP 13 moniker.

Listen: Lana Del Rey – Born To Die (Clams Casino Remix)

Onomatopoeia favorite Clams Casino has come through with a rather distinctive reworking of Lana Del Rey's title track "Born To Die". 2011 was a big year for both of these artists so why not put them together and see what happens right? Enjoy below...

BONUS:
I figured I might as well drop Woodkid's remix as well, for my money it's the better of the two.

Video: Lana Del Rey – “Born to Die” (Mulberry Sessions)

Lana Del Rey performed live at an itimate  party for fashion line Mulberry last week at the legendary Chateau Marmont in Hollywood. It was a stripped-down set at the poolside of the hotel, which in my opinion works very well for her. Wearing a Mulberry dress herself. you can watch the young singer perform a mesmerizing rendition of her new single "Born To Die" below packed full of sadness and romance.

Video: Lana Del Rey - "Born To Die"

"Born to Die," the title track off  internet sensation Lana Del Rey’s forthcoming debut album, follows the same cool vibe that made "Video Games." the megahit that it is. This isn't the official video as much as it's more of just a fun quick way to get the official audio out there in cyberspace but I’m enjoying the tune. Born to Die is due out January 23 on Interscope.
