Video: Washed Out – “Don't Give Up”

Last month we shared a stream of Washed Out’s “Don’t Give Up” which is set to appear on upcoming LP Paracosm, due out August 13th on Sub Pop. Today we can post the Kate Moroos video that features some beautiful close up's of animals that were filmed at the ZSL London Zoo.

Washed Out shared a second taste of his upcoming LP, Paracosm, due out August 13, in the form of “Don’t Give Up.”  This one is a little more of a traditional pop song than “It Feels Right” and reminds me of genre mate Toro y Moi, which is to say they both seem to have a great feel what summer sounds like.

Ernest Greene, aka Washed Out, is gearing up to release his latest LP, Paracosm, on August 13 via  Sub Pop.  Today he shared the first single "It All Feels Right” via a lyric video directed by Mad Decent collaborator Ferry Gouw. Ernest continues his love affair with the dreamy and hazy which works great as those steamy sweaty summer nights approach us.

Video: Washed Out - "A Dedication"

It’s been a moment since we heard anything from WashedOut but Ernest Greene returns to the scene today with a new Yoonah Park directed video for “A Dedication” from 2011's Within and Without LP. The video is a mellow affair much like the song its self focusing on Greene, a female friend and a kitten spending some time by a lake.

Several weeks ago we shared Washed Out’s “Call It Off” one of the unreleased B-sides from the release of single “Amor Fati” now we are happy to share a remix from the release this time in the form of a Clams Casino remix of the title track. I wouldn’t say this is the already classic Clams sound but you can definitely here him in there.

Washed Out performed a great rendition of “Far Away” my top tune from their recently released LP Within and Without. The full band was captured on film while in San Francisco performing a set for blog Yours Truly.

Washed Out recently taped an episode of Sirius XMU's show "Sirius XMU Sessions". During his session, Washed Out played a sweet version of Chris Isaak's  "Wicked Game", listen to it below. Washed Out's episode of "Sirius XMU Sessions" will air on Sirius channel 35 on August 3 at 9 p.m. eastern time.
