A$AP Rocky  dropped a video for the Skrillex-produced, Birdy Nam Nam featured, “Wild for the Night” yesterday evening. The clip was shot in the Dominican Republic where Rocky and Skrillex experience local fair and in turn share with the Dominican’s what they do best.

Although these streams don’t seem to last very long this one should stick as it comes from the official source. A$AP Rocky has shared the title track from his upcoming debut LONG.LIVE.A$AP due out on January 15. The tune was produced by Jim Jonsin & Rico Love, co-prod. by Finatik & Zac & Frank Romano. Rocky also revealed via Twitter that he’ll be dropping the video for “LONGLIVEA$AP” this Sunday on MTV2 at 11 AM.

Theophilus London dropped a new free mixtape for the fans to rock tomorrow during barbequing.  Rose Island Vol. 1 features one of my favorite tunes from this summer which we shared back in April and guest stars A$AP Rocky as well as some random cover songs including “Take it Off”(TL and Blood Orange) and 80′s Wang Chung track “Dance Hall Days.” You may have heard the smooth joint featuring Big Boi as well that has been floating around the last month called “She Said Ok.”  Some other highlights on the mix include Marvin Gaye and Sade samples. Lana Del Rey dropped her latest video only a day after sharing an extended preview with the world. Directed by Anthony Mandler "National Anthem” sees Del Rey playing both Marilyn Monroe and Jackie O with A$APRocky making  a guest appearance as JFK. The video is shot to look like a series of vintage home video-style clips, something Lana seems to be drawn to.

Video: A$AP Rocky – “Goldie” (NSFW)


A$AP Rocky released his first major music video since receiving his payday from his major label signing in the form of new single “Goldie”.  The self-directed clip was shot in Paris and with assistance from fashion designer Alexander Wang. Explained the upstart MC, “Basically the concept of the video is to be more flamboyant and just to showcase a lot of flashy luxury—old foreign cars and fashion models. I need you to know this is all my idea. I’m the flyest motherfu**er you know.”

Video: A$AP ROCKY – “Wassup”


A$AP Rocky dropped his most professional looking video yet for his Clams Casino produced tune “Wassup”, If you recall the two worked together on the track “Bass” that we shared back in October. Rocky teamed up with VICE to shoot this clip inspired by Scarface and some of his other favorite films.

This song is somewhat of a watershed collaboration between a bunch of names in hip hop that are all on the rise right now. Clams Casino (who was recently profiled by the Wall Street Journal), drops a straightforward but incredibly dope and atmospheric beat with ASAP Rocky and Mondre Man of Main Attrakionz doing what they do best behind the mic.
