We have some catching up to do with being away for the last 5 days so why not start things up with some free music. We have already shared a handful of new tracks from ArabbMuzik who was scheduled to drop his new mixtape For Professional Use Only last Friday and so he did. Azealia Banks and AraabMUZIK join forces again for “Succubi” a dis song(why don’t rock bands release dis songs?) aimed at Jim Jones after their little Twitter dispute. I don’t really follow such nonsense but if music is made and shared as a result of an internet feud than feud away people.

Detroit emcee DannyBrown has teamed up with Rhode Island beat maker AraabMuzik for a collaboration on a new tune called “Molly Ringwald” which will be released as a 7" single through Yours Truly's Love Letters Ink imprint this week. The track will also appear on the upcoming Fool's Gold compilation Loosies.  A copy of the 7" will be given away for free to the first ten fans who tag Yours Truly in a Facebook post linking to the track.  You can also watch the Yours Truly/Adidas Originals video (below) on the making of the track.

Earlier this year, Providence MPC wizard AraabMUZIK released his solo album Electronic Dream, Today, roughly six months later he releases a deluxe edition of that album. The deluxe edition features six new tracks, and we’ve got one of them below. A while back we posted The Big Pink's "Stay Gold" single and accompanying video clip.  Never in our wildest dreams would we have expected AraabMUZIK to toss it in his MPC blender and deliver a banging remix for it.  Listen to or download both the original and the remix below, the latter being probably the most pensive track we've heard from this young producer (who by the way just produced a 50 Cent track) signaling a promising versatility we were previously unaware of:

More AraabMUZIK action this time in the form of  FLüD’s “Beats Per Minute” series. Those not familiar with the series should get up to date as it showcases some of hip hop’s most influential producers highlighting their craft, while discussing changes in the game, crate diggin’, equipment and their advise to the new generation. In this episode AraabMUZIK talks about his foundation and beginnings learning the MPC and how it took years to perfect his craft. We've been looking forward to our first post on Onomatopoeia, but we wanted to wait for something special.  This mini documentary on the Rhode Island MPC wizard AraabMUZIK seemed like the perfect way to start things off.  Gone are the days when hip-hop producers spent more time crate-digging for obscure ancient samples then they did on their actual equipment: the source material on this young producer's debut LP "Electronic Dream" is bargain-bin commercial trance music, which he chops and cuts through ruthlessly with his ultra-compressed hip-hop beats.  Listen to the stand out track "Streetz Tonight" below and you can decide for yourself whether you'd rather grind or fist pump.
