Video: Mr. Oizo – “HAM”

Anytime Eric Wareheim is behind a new video it’s worth sharing, the fact that this time it’s in conjunction with electronic mainstay Mr. Oizo makes it even better. “HAM” goes the absurd route depicting what Eric calls “The Future Of America,” it’s comically grotesque and stars John C. Reilly going after, wait for it, a Flat Eric doll. AWESOME!

Video/Download: Arcade Fire – “Here Comes the Night Time”

Arcade Fire ruled Saturday evening on NBC taking on musical guest duties on the season premiere of SNL and following it up with a 30 minute Roman Coppola directed TV special. The video features three new tunes “Here Comes The Night Time,” '”We Exist” and “Normal Person.” A series of skits with cameos from the likes of Bono, Rainn Wilson, Ben Stiller, Michael Cera, James Franco, AzizAnsari, Eric Wareheim, Bill Hader, and Zach Galifianakis are spliced in with live footage of the band performing. As an added bonus the band shared a download of the new songs heard in the video you can grab HERE. Reflektor is out on October 29 via Merge.

Video: Major Lazer – “Bubble But”

You never know what you are gonna get out of a Major Lazer album, sure it’s always a good time but depending on your tastes it might not always be your kind of good time. “Bubble Butt” off of the major’s sophomore LP, Free The Universe is definitely my kind of good time. The tune was an instant standout the first time I spun the record so I was happy to see a video popped up for it today. The visuals for the tune which features Bruno Mars, 1 Chainz, Mystic and Tyga keeps things over the top and fun as always and was directed by comedian Eric Wareheim.

Video: Beach House - "Wishes"

Beach House released another video from their most recent effort 2012’s  Bloom.  The new visuals for “Wishes” are note worthy as they come courtesy of Eric Wareheim of Tim and Eric fame or if you grew up like me, more importantly of Ink & Dagger fame. The video also stars Twin Peaks favorite Ray Wise and features football, fireworks, and horses.  Eric said of the project; “This is the first project that I’ve ever collaborated creatively with the band. Victoria’s imagery inspired me to create this special half time show. It also helps that Beach House is literally on my top 5 list of bands, ever.”

So there you have it, truth be told nothing as of yet tops the video he worked on for HEALTH’s “Water” but this is still a good video in its own right.
