PartySupplies return with the new 80’s inspired "4 More Months
2 Go". Not sure if the duo are hinting at a sophomore album already but
the tune most certainly sounds like more than just a B-side. They had this to
say about the song…
“To make this song we started by slightly interpolating and
looping an instrumental section of Andrew Gold's 1977 hit song "Lonely Boy."
This loop became a platform for us to explore what is now this song. Please
Enjoy and all respect due to the songwriter Andrew Gold and his family. RIP
Andrew Gold.”
Party Supplies start off 2014 with their latest video, a Sebastian Bear McClarddirected clip for “Working Out.” The humorous NSFW visuals explore the
lifecycle of a character played by comedian Fat Jew; seeing him tackle all the
ups and downs one might experience themselves in the course of a lifetime
including birth, puberty, love, war, marriage, death and everything in-between
2013 was a busy year for Party Supplies, outside of
producing the recent Blue Chips 2mixtape with Action Bronson, the Party Supplies project went from a solo affair to a duo
and with that Justin Nealis and Sean Mahon released their debut, the Tough Love
LP back August. Check out the new video by Jordan Levine for "(Searching
For) A Crazy Love (Dancing All Alone)” off the LP.
Mass
Appeal have launched a fun new series by the name of Rhythm Roulette. The
premise is simple, take a happening producer, have him/her purchase three
random records at a record store of their choice and have them flip samples
from the LPs into a brand-new beat. Up first is Queens based producer Party Supplies,
perhaps best known for his MPC wizardry with Action Bronson.
A couple weeks ago we shared PartySupplies’ latest
sound collage, “New York 2017”, a return
to the fun sample heavy tunes the producer first established himself with and today
he’s got an equally fun video to match the sound. Using found footage from the
80’s take a journey into the future via the past!
New tune from Action Bronsonthis morning as he takes to Twitter to share the Party Supplies
produced “It’s Me”. Sampling what sounds like something straight out of The
Little Mermaid Bronson works his magic to the fullest in this all too short gem . This track comes off the wake of Action’s recent
signing to Vice/Warner.
PartySupplies is back with his latest sound collage, returning to the vibe that most of us first discovered him through. Using indie rock samples
mixed with bleeps, bloops and beats for some terrific results that he calls
“New York 2017”.
Things get crazy in the gym when "bath salts" are sniffed in the latest video from the joint mixtape between Action Bronson and Party Supplies. Directed
by Rik Cordero , who also helmed “Hookers At The Point,” comes “Steve Wynn.”
As we recently reported Action Bronson has teamed up with artist, producer and fellow Queens resident Party Supplies for a project entitledBlue Chips. The collection of songs acts as a thank you to the fans who have supported Bronson throughout his hip-hop journey. PartySupplies‘ dusty production fits Action‘s New York delivery perfectly and gives this project a throwback feel without ever coming across as dated.

Blue Chips is the latest project from Party Supplies and Action Bronson. The off the cuff spontaneous project that started as a vibe session one winter afternoon and spiraled into a 17 song journey that includes appearances by Roc Marci, Meyhem Lauren and Das Racist. The collection of tunes was recorded in the confines of Party Supplies Williamsburg chalet. It's a project as opposed to a mixtape or an album and sits in a nether world somewhere between the two. "Most of all it's a moment in time made in a 3 week period of hanging out at Party Supplies house. In between cheese plates, snaps and spliffs the 2 artists came up with this testament of creativity and spontaneity."
Another new cut from the ever productive Action Bronson this time the Queens rapper jumps on Peter Bjorn & John’s “Nothing To Worry About.” Produced by Party Supplies.
After sharing a recent collaboration with fellow Queens native Action Bronson last week MPC master Party Supplies is back again with a new cut called “Guy Friends”. It’s the usual upbeat vibe the Fool’s Gold producer in known for and is a great way to start our Friday, enjoy the tune below...
Rapper Action Bronson teamed up with the producer Party Supplies to record the gem below, “Contemporary Man”. The song is heavy on the samples almost resulting in more of a mashup in style than an original production covering everything from Peter Gabriel’s “Sledgehammer” to John Mellencamp’s “Jack and Diane”, there are even some random Charlie Sheen quotes mixed in. The pair are also reportedly working on a full collaboration effort titled Blue Chips, which is slated to drop in February.
You may recall back in July we did a post on Queens native and MPC copy-and-paste wizard Party Supplies signing to Fool’s Gold. Well it seems the label let loose a free 10 track album of introductory material including some of the mixes’ we shared in the form of Firecrackers. Be sure to grab the album while it's still easily availablle online.
Party Supplies just signed to Fool’s Gold. If you haven’t heard of the man he is a copy-and-paste wizard hailing from Queens. Loaded with a quick-trigger approach and an MPC, Party Supplies has drowned YouTube with live videos of him splicing up the likes of Arcade Fire, Kanye West, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros and more. Expect a more hip-hop oriented sound on his debut release.
In the mean time take a gander at the video below as well as two remix's ....
