Listen: Keep Shelly In Athens - "Madmen Love"

I wouldn’t call myself the biggest fan of Greece’s Keep Shelly In Athens, others contributors here have more of an affinity for the duo than I have had in the past, it’s not that I think they are bad, I just felt there was a little to much hype surrounding them, and having grown up in Greece myself, I felt I could hear their strong 90’s influences a little too much. Having said that it’s been a while since they have released any new material and it would seem that the time away has been well spent. “Madmen Love” ditches their traditional lo-fi sound for some more beefed up production and if this is any indication of what their debut LP on Cascine will sound like it’s a good thing.

Video: Kuedo’s Boiler Room Set

Last week we shared Former LCDSoundsystem frontman James Murphy’s 50-minute  Boiler Room set  and I proclaimed the wish that the London/Berlin venue would make German electronic artist Kuedo’s recent performance at the club available in the near future. Well the future has arrived because the set is now available to view in its entirety and you can watch it HERE. While you are at it make sure to check out our friends at RedCup who just this morning posted a new non album single that Kuedo will be releasing come June by the name of "Work, Live & Sleep In Collapsing Space."

Video: Kuedo – "Ascension Phase”

As our friends over at Redcup have said in the past one of the most intriguing artists in the wider dubstep scene and widely considered as a founding father of the genre, along with former Vex'd band mate Roly Porter, is German beat maker Kuedo. His 2011 debut solo LP Severant, is nothing short of fantastic  and should be heard by all. “Ascension Phase" is the latest tune from the LP to get a video and you can check out the animated clip below…
