Video: Purity Ring @ Montreal Boiler Room (Full Set)

Purity Ring's Corin Roddick stopped by Montreal’s Boiler Room on May 5th to take over the decks with his brand of party music. The forty-two minute set showcases tunes that fit nicely into the Purity Ring aesthetic with a dream like vibe setting the tone for most of the evening although he does mix things up now and again with some more “chaotic tunes.’ Of course some Purity Ring tracks make an appearance as well and the crowed seems to be well into it, check it out below...

Listen: Giorgio Moroder's Red Bull Music Academy DJ Set

Disco legend and recent Daft Punk collaborator Giorgio Moroder played his first live dj set ever last night at Brooklyn’s Output as part of the Red Bull Music Academy's series of New York events. The seventy-five minute set  is a retro-future trip down dance floor history including  Donna Summer's "I Feel Love", "Bad Girls", "On the Radio" and "Hot Stuff." The recent Daft Punk collaboration, "Giorgio by Moroder," of course also makes an appearance.

Last week we shared Former LCDSoundsystem frontman James Murphy’s 50-minute  Boiler Room set  and I proclaimed the wish that the London/Berlin venue would make German electronic artist Kuedo’s recent performance at the club available in the near future. Well the future has arrived because the set is now available to view in its entirety and you can watch it HERE.
