Video: Tyler, the Creator -"IFHY", “Jamba”

Here's the two-part video for "IFHY" (featuring Pharrell) and "Jamba" (featuring Hodgy Beats), from Tyler, theCreator's album Wolf, out next week on April 2. As has been the case the Tyler directed the clips under his Wolf Haley alias. The "IFHY" half keeps things creative, taking place inside of a dollhouse, with Tyler as a plastic doll. "Jamba" is a little more straightforward and see’s Tyler and Hodgy riding around the suburbs acting silly, check em' out below…

Video: Tyler, The Creator – “Domo 23”

Odd Future head hancho Tyler, the Creator posted the video for a new song called "Domo 23", which acts as the first single from his forthcoming "sophomore" album Wolf.  As always the video takes a humorous approach and is set in a professional wrestling match between Tyler and crew member Domo Genesis, with Earl Sweatshirt as the referee.

Tyler wrote on Twitter. "I'M SO NERVOUS WHAT IF EVERYONE HATE IT AND I GO BROK FUCK AHHH... THE FAD IS OVER AND I GOTTA WORK AT SOMEWHERE LIKE THESE REGULAR NIGGAS AHHH NO IM SHAKING".

Video: Earl Sweatshirt – “Chum”

Earl‘s comeback single “Chum” gets the video treatment with this stark black and white clip, a striking visual treatment appropriate given the track’s tone which details his feelings toward his absent father, the struggle of returning home this year, and his battle with racial identity.

Odd Future member Frank Ocean has had a big big year, his first commercial LP, ChannelORANGE, saw much critical and commercial success so I figured  for this week’s Throwback Thursday why not throw up Franks pre Nostalgia Ultra era music when he went by the name of Lonny Breaux. The Collection below which I split into two separate download links consists of 64 unreleased tracks. You’re welcome, and enjoy!

The truly excellent collection features the pitch-shifting MC spitting drug-induced lyrics over beats from the likes of TNGHTthe Alchemist, Madlib and others with guest appearances coming from Azizi GibsonJeremiah Jae and more. You can stream the epic 35-minute audiovisual experience,  that was created by Xavier Magot, and is most certainly NOT SAFE FOR WORK, over at Murphy’s website.

Download: Flying Lotus - "Between Friends" featuring Earl Sweatshirt & Captain Murphy

Oh wow.  A collaboration that wouldn't have crossed my mind, not because it crosses genres, but because it brings together two of the querkiest and most imaginative representatives of one.  LA producer Flying Lotus works his hip-hop magic on a beat that perfectly compliments Odd Future's Earl Sweatshirt's rhymes.  In typical FlyLo manner, the vocal isn't left intact with a subtle downward pitchshift that makes Earl's voice sound more menacing than ever. We also get an appearance from Captain Murphy who is rumored to be Flying Lotus's emcee alias or  possibly even Tyler The Creator under a different name! Listen to and download the excellent "Between Friends" over at the Adult Swim 2012 singles program site. Thank You Adult Swim.
