The Yeah Yeah Yeahs have shared a video for the title track off their new
record, Mosquito. The video concept utilizes the picture in picture
format where the large screen features a mosquito sucking the blood of a small
child, who is the focus of the smaller screen. As the song reaches a climax
things get psychedelic ending in an obvious but none the less satisfying manner.

Video: Queens of The Stone Age – “I Appear Missing”
As reported Queens of the Stone Age are getting ready to release
their latest LP, Like Clockwork, on June 4th via Matador. We have
already shared "My God Is the Sun" and now we have a second cut and
video to enjoy in the form of “I Appear Missing.” It would seem that album cover
artist Boneface
is also responsible for the entertaining video. The LP is said to feature
contributions from DaveGrohl, Trent Reznor, Elton John, Scissor Sisters' Jake
Shears, and old friends Mark Lanegan and Nick Oliveri. Liking what I hear and see so far.

Video: Twigs – “How’s That”
It’s been a minute since we heard from U.K. singer Twigs, who’s
EP made my best of 2012 list, so I was excited to see that she has been keeping
busy in the studio working on new material. The smooth “How’s That”, which was co-written
by Arca, makes its debut with yet another great Jesse Kanda video to boot,
check it below…

Video: The Gaslamp Killer – “In The Dark”
Brainfeeder producer The Gaslamp Killer has got a new visually striking video to share for
Breakthrough album cut “In The Dark.” The Hyperballad directed video is
perfectly eerie and fits the song like a glove with its cult-like vibe and
graphics, first-class stuff for sure.
Video: VHILS – “Fragmentos”
Portuguese Artist Alexandre Farto, aka VHILS, released
a new video showcasing a recent trip to Brazil where the street artist and his

of Cone Crew Diretoria with “Chama os Mulekes

Video: Bosnian Rainbows – “Turtle Neck”
Bosnian Rainbows is a new band featuring Teri Gender Bender
(Le Butcherettes), Nicci Kasper (Kudu, KRS-ONE), Deantoni Parks (John Cale, The
Mars Volta), and Omar Rodriguez Lopez (The Mars Volta, At the Drive-In). The
group formed during the summer of 2012 and will release their self-titled debut
LP June 25th 2013 on Sargent House. While the four members respective pedigrees
are as distinctive as the names they're attached to, the group itself is an
entity all its own, unlike any other project any of them have been in. Check
our lead single “Turtle Neck” who’s video is made up of photographs taken
around the world while on tour.

Video: Empire Of The Sun - "Alive"
![]() |
| Paris Fashion Week? No Empire Of The Sun on a regular day I'm afraid. |
Aussie pop duo Empire of the Sun recently announced their return to the scene after a
five year break since their colorful debut Walking On A Dream was released. “Alive,” pretty much picks up where they left off with its synth
pop melodies and anthemic choruses. For those who aren't familiar with the band
think MGMT and Yeasayer attending a swingers party and hooking up with
Fischerspooner and The Scissor Sisters. Check out the video below and try not to
get lost in the ridiculous sci-fi fantasy world the band continue to associate their
look with and just enjoy the pure pop bliss! Ice On The Dune is out June
18, pre-order it here.
Listen: Palms – “Patagonia”
After several years of reading up on this project it seems
like it will finally see the lite of day. Palms are a collaboration between Deftones'
Chino Moreno (vocals) and three members of Isis, Jeff
Caxide (bass/keyboards), Aaron Harris (drums) and Clifford Meyer
(guitar/keyboards). "Patagonia" is the first single from their debut due
out June 25 via Ipecac.
