Listen: James Blake – “Voyeur” (Dub)

Some new music from James Blake comes courtesy  of DJ Benji B. “Voyeur” is actually the dub version of a cut that will appear on his new LP, Overgrown, which drops April 8^th. The tune starts with those signature emotive vocal loops and synths but then things quickly go into overdrive in the best way possible, check it below…

Listen: Bat For Lashes – “We Found Love” (Rihanna Cover)

Lots of Bat For Lashes posts as we draw closer to the official release of LP number 3, The Haunted Man. In promotion of the event Natasha Khan stopped by Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show the other night to drop off this cover of Rihanna’s smash-hit “We Found Love” putting her own touch on it. Listen: Flying Lotus - "Flotus"

Flying Lotus is out doing the rounds promoting his latest LP , Until The Quiet Comes and on Saturday the producer stopped by BBC Radio 1 to throw down a mix for Diplo & Friends and dropped an unreleased gem in the form of “Flotus”. Apparently, the Los Angeles producer planned on having Childish Gambino rap on the track, or even Kendrick Lamar. He added, “whoever gets to it first. I didn’t think people would care about that beat.”

Ripped from the BBC Radio 1 Show with Benji B on the 20th September 2012, what we got here is an old, unfinished and unreleased track by Hudson Mohawke entitled "Tingle". Plenty of low end bass surrounding a smorgasburg or percussion that sounds like it was created out of pots and pans.

Listen: BBC Radio 1’s Benji B Program With Guest DJ Clams Casino.

Clams Casino made a guest appearance on Benji B's BBC Radio 1 program yesterday for an hour and  twenty minutes of delicious tunes. Combined with Benji’s regular quality set Clams follows up with 25-minutes of his own in a mix he calls "The Evolution of Clams Casino". The "exclusive" mix includes some "VERY rare instrumentals" and is up for your listening enjoyment for the next 6 days HERE.

Two very popular people in indie music these days, James Blake & Bon Iver just dropped the much talked about 'Fall Creek Boys Choir' and BBC Radio 1 has premiered the track. Listen to it below...

According to a press release, "Over the past year James has cited Justin as a key influence and it was via a chance meeting at this years SXSW festival in Austin, Texas that the seed was sown for a future collaboration." The track was "formed in the spring over email." It features Justin Vernon on vocals and James Blake on production. It will be available on iTunes on August 29.
